The authorization code is unique to each domain and is assigned by the registrar of the domain. It is used to transfer a domain name from one registrar to another.

If you want to transfer your [.gr] or [.ελ] domain to us, you will need to provide us with the domain’s authorization code so we can complete the transfer. You can ask your current registrar to give you this code.

The same applies if you want to transfer your [.gr] or [.ελ] domain name that you have with us, to a different registrar. We’ll provide you with the domain’s authorization code to hand over to the new registrar. The only thing we ask in such a rare case, is to tell us why you want to transfer out.
